Beautiful Ties is a wonderful novel to read as a stand alone or as a part of the Beautiful series. I have not read the first three books, but they've now been added to my TBR pile.
Abbey is an independent woman who's content to be alone. Most of the time. When she sees how happy her brothers are, she yearns for the same thing. But she has Pearl, the seven year old who lives nearby, to keep her company. Pearl is the sweetest little girl. She's also really smart and extremely lonely. She knows she's not wanted at home.
Abbey meets Jason at her brother Kyle's wedding. He's Lilly's, Kyle's bride, cousin. They hit it off and start dating. Jason is caring and funny and loves art. He's also stubborn as a mule. He falls in love not only with Abbey, but with Pearl, too.
Beautiful Ties is such a sweet story about finding a family. It's a good book for everybody.
